We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your profile is visible to other users — your email, password, and payment details are never shared. We work with: Neon (database hosting), Cloudinary (photo storage), Apple (payment processing), and Railway (server hosting). We may disclose information when required by law or to protect user safety.
We retain your data while your account is active. Account deletion removes your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Messages may be retained up to 90 days after deletion for safety and moderation purposes.
Account deletion can be completed directly within the app under Settings → Delete Account.
We collect your general location (city level) to show you relevant matches nearby. We do not track your precise real-time GPS location without explicit permission. You can disable location access in your device settings at any time.
Photos are stored securely via Cloudinary and shown only on your profile. We do not use your photos for advertising or sell them to third parties. You can delete photos at any time within the app.
Amourè is strictly for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their data. Report suspected minors to safety@amouredating.app.
We implement industry-standard security including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing, and JWT token-based authentication. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy and revising the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
By creating an account or using Amourè, you agree to be bound by these Terms. This app is strictly for users 18 years of age and older.
By accessing or using Amourè, you confirm that:
Amourè is available only to users who are 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to verify your age at any time. You may not use the Service if you have been convicted of a sexual offense, violent crime, or any crime that would make your use of a dating platform dangerous to other users.
You may only create one account. Multiple accounts are not permitted.
By using the Service you agree never to:
Violation of these guidelines may result in immediate account termination without refund.
You are solely responsible for all content you post on Amourè. By posting content, you grant Amourè a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. Content must not include explicit material in public-facing areas, violence, illegal activity, or third-party IP infringement.
All subscriptions are processed through Apple In-App Purchases. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
To cancel: iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Amourè → Cancel Subscription
All purchases are final. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
If you encounter a user who makes you feel unsafe, use the in-app reporting feature immediately or email safety@amouredating.app. Amourè does not conduct criminal background checks on users. Always meet matches in public places and tell someone where you are going.
Amourè is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that you will find a match or relationship, or that other users are who they say they are.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amourè shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.

The golden rule: treat every person on this platform the way you want to be treated.
Use real photos of yourself. Write an honest bio. Be who you say you are. Catfishing, impersonation, and fake profiles result in permanent bans.
No means no. If someone does not respond or asks you to stop, respect that immediately. Persistent messaging after being ignored or rejected is harassment and will result in removal.
Never share your financial information with matches. Be cautious about sharing your home address or workplace. Meet new matches in public places first and tell someone where you are going.
Always close connections gracefully. If it is not a match, say so kindly. Disappearing without a word is not acceptable on Amourè. Closing conversations with care is part of who we are.

Our team reviews every report and takes action including warnings, temporary suspensions, and permanent bans. We cooperate fully with law enforcement when required. All reports are taken seriously.
